About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Finance Product Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic agenda for all finance applications, ensuring they meet the quality, resilience, and usability standards required by our business. You will work closely with key stakeholders and lead a team dedicated to enhancing our finance function's technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Drive the strategic agenda for finance applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and value stream principles.
- Customer Collaboration: Partner with business functions to understand and align with their roadmaps, focusing on forward-thinking and proactive strategies.
- Technical Consultation: Identify and nurture solutions to existing finance function problems, optimising our core finance application (Oracle) and other finance technologies.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a team of Technical Product Owners and squads, ensuring they have the capabilities to perform at the highest standards.
- Resilience and Security: Ensure all finance applications are robust, secure, scalable, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Commercial Focus: Promote a commercially oriented culture, maximising return on investment while managing a finite budget.
Candidate Profile:
- Product Management Experience: Proven experience in product management within Finance, Insurance of other similar industries. Experience with Oracle is highly desirable.
- Leadership: Strong ability to communicate a product vision and objectives, and deliver change through internal and third-party teams.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation, from developers to heads of function.
- Program Management: Experience leading across vendors and internal teams, comfortable with both traditional and agile methodologies.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of finance function tools and technologies, Agile principles, and value stream/product development.

- Develop and manage roadmaps for decommissioning legacy systems
