Data Centre Technician| SC Clearance | IaaS |MTP Fiber l ITIL l Data Centre l £200-250 PD l Outside IR35 l 6 months l Fully Remote
Method Resourcing are partnering with a global defence organisation looking for a Data Centre Technician to maintain infrastructure across multiple IaaS data centres.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare and install new transmission paths to support IaaS records for configuration management
- Plan, Install and Configure rack mounted equipment to deliver to other SDM's
- Provide expertise on the implementation of physical security for IaaS data centres
- Develop solutions to increase IaaS capacity
The successful candidate will have experience with:
- Detailed experience with:
- Data Centre Cabling and Infrastructure
- MTP Fiber Installations
- Rack and Aisle buildout and installation
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Proven experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
- Previous experience within Military or defence.
Contract:
- Outside IR35
- 6-month Initial Term
- Fully Remote
- £200-250 per day
- MUST have Valid SC Clearance or higher
