Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical contact for key infrastructure areas, collaborating with stakeholders and colleagues.
- Contribute to the planning, design, and execution of IT infrastructure initiatives.
- Configure and optimize tools to automate the provisioning, testing, and deployment of infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain system and infrastructure designs, policies, and documentation.
- Produce detailed reports and proposals for infrastructure improvements.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to facilitate the adoption of new methods and tools.
- Lead efforts to migrate infrastructure management towards a code-centric model.
- Act as a support escalation point for third-line infrastructure issues.
- Proactively manage and improve IT infrastructure to minimize disruptions and enhance service quality.
- Drive decision-making processes across teams, ensuring informed and value-added outcomes.
- Promote Agile principles and practices within the IT Services team.
- Mentor and contribute to the development of other team members.
- Embrace change and align with the IT Services vision and strategy.
Essential Technical Skills:
Expertise in Cisco networking, including switches (Nexus/Catalyst), wireless controllers, DNA Center, Identity Services Engine, SD-Access, ACI, and more.
Proficiency in a blend of technologies, such as:
- Zscaler suite (ZIA, ZPA, ZCC, ZDX)
- SD-WAN (e.g., Versa)
- Azure networking (NSG, VNet peering, gateways, Private Link, firewalls)
- DNS management (Infoblox DDI, Azure DNS)
- Infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, GIT)
- Routers (Juniper, Cisco, including BGP, OSPF)
- Firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Azure, VPNs, URL filtering, IPS/IDS)
- Load balancers (F5, NetScaler ADC)
Relevant certifications are a plus, including but not limited to CCNP Enterprise, Azure AZ-700, Palo PCNSE, and Checkpoint CCSE.
